At DD Glass Balustrades we have a supply only service which was the perfect option for john Phillips at www.gowercoastcabins.co.uk as they had all types of tradesmen already on-site building their luxury lodges. All of our balustrade systems are created for the ease of installation in mind so our customers can easily fit the product themselves and save on fitting costs.

Initial Consultation

When initially speaking to john it was apparent that the lodges at the Gower were not your average holiday let. They are very high-end luxury lodges; the original plan was to use a 17.5mm toughened and laminated glass with an aluminium track system but with the frame being made from timber we explained to john that this would not pass building regulations. The second-best option was our mirrored finish 316 stainless steel balustrade system. This balustrade system is marine grade 316 which works perfectly on a coastal areas and is innkeeping with the luxury theme.

Measure Glass Balustrade Systems In A Kit Form?

Once john had decided what type of glass balustrade system he wanted with the help of our staff, we then talked john through the measuring process and sent him drawings of how to measure for his mirrored finish glass balustrade system exactly to save on any mistakes being made.

Process After Measuring?

As soon as the final measurements are complete, we then ask for a 50% deposit for glass manufacturing and to secure your booking. Because the glass balustrade system is bespoke to you it is very unlikely that we would be able to use your toughened glass on any of our projects.

Delivery Timescales

Once the manufacturing process begins the toughened glass is cut and sent for toughening this process normally takes around 2-3 weeks and we will then plan delivery as soon as it is complete.
